Day 1: La Canavalia Farm and La Sombra Ecolodge

The trip begins with a tour of the diversified farm La Canavalia, a model farm that functions as a school for small producers, there you will appreciate the organic production of animals, fruits and vegetables.

Then we go to La Sombra Ecolodge, a mountain hotel where you can perform various activities such as hiking trails, coffee production, visit one of the largest butterfly garden in Nicaragua, bird watching and more.

Day 2: Nature Reserve Peñas Blancas Massiff

The second day we will walk by one of the country's most important forests: The Peñas Blancas Massif, the southern boundary of biosphere reserve Bosawas.

We will walk for about 3 hours through lush vegetation and numerous water sources, know the sanctuary of the giant trees and finish in the beautiful waterfall Rainbow, with its more than 60 meters high.

After lunch return to Matagalpa, where the tour ends.
