A very active history tour. Visit historic cities, a black pottery workshop and beautiful landscapes. A different way of seeing Nicaragua.
We begin our tour with a visit to the charming village of San Rafael, where the national hero Augusto Sandino and Father Odorico D'Andrea, now a candidate for sainthood, both lived.
Afterwards we will visit Jinotega with its wall paintings, quiet streets and one of the most popular black pottery workshops in the region. Here you have the opportunity to learn how to use the wheel and mold the clay.
We end the tour enjoying the views over the mountains and with a nicaraguan drink in a typical restaurant.
