However, please be aware that all adventure tourism inherently involves certain risks, dangers, and hazards that cannot always be anticipated or avoided. These risks may include, but are not limited to, unpredictable weather, challenging terrain, wildlife encounters, or other unforeseen circumstances. By booking a tour with us, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with adventure travel. You also understand that participation in any tour requires you to be physically and mentally prepared for the activities involved. We recommend that all participants have appropriate travel insurance to cover medical expenses, trip cancellations, and other unforeseen events.

Itinerary Modifications

• At Matagalpa Tours, we strive to provide the best possible experience for all our clients. However, please be aware that tour itineraries are subject to change in order to accommodate unforeseen circumstances or to better meet client needs. While we aim to follow the planned itinerary, it is important to note that changes may occur due to a variety of factors, including but not limited to:

• Weather conditions that impact road accessibility or safety
• Strikes or public holidays
• Local festivals or cultural events
• Unforeseen road conditions or infrastructure challenges

These adjustments may be necessary for safety, logistical, or operational reasons and may occur with little or no prior notice. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility in such circumstances and will always do our best to ensure that your tour remains enjoyable and memorable, despite any necessary changes to the itinerary.

Hotel Accommodation

• The hotels listed in your itinerary are provided as a guide and are subject to change based on availability. In the event that a listed hotel is unavailable, we will make every effort to secure accommodation of equal or higher standard to ensure your comfort. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility should any adjustments be necessary.

Liability Disclaimer for Unforeseen Disruptions

• Matagalpa Tours will not be held liable for any damage, inconvenience, or additional expenses arising from events beyond our control, including but not limited to delays caused by public transportation, schedule changes, strikes, vehicle breakdowns, force majeure, or other unforeseen circumstances. While we make every effort to minimize disruptions, certain conditions may be beyond our ability to prevent or manage. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in such cases.

Travel Documentation and Responsibility

• It is the responsibility of each traveler to ensure they possess a valid passport and any necessary visas for their trip. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of your planned return. Additionally, it is your responsibility to obtain any required vaccinations, travel permits, or other legal documents needed for your journey.
• Matagalpa Tours assumes no responsibility for obtaining or verifying travel documents, including visas, vaccinations, or other entry requirements. Any additional costs incurred due to the lack of proper documentation, including but not limited to denied entry, delays, or extra expenses, will be the sole responsibility of the traveler.
• We strongly recommend that you review the travel documentation requirements well in advance of your trip to avoid any disruptions.

Health and Fitness Requirements

• Certain activities included in our tours may be physically demanding. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in good health and have a reasonable level of fitness to participate in the planned activities. We strongly recommend that you consult with a healthcare provider before engaging in any strenuous activities.
• If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, disabilities, or other health concerns that could affect your ability to participate in the tour, or that may require additional medical attention, it is essential that you inform Matagalpa Tours prior to booking. This includes any condition that may impact the safety, well-being, or enjoyment of yourself or other participants.
• Additionally, you should carry any necessary medication with you and make us aware of any specific health requirements or needs you may have during the trip.

Problem Resolution and Feedback

• If you encounter any issues during your tour, we encourage you to notify your tour guide or our office assistant as soon as possible. Addressing concerns promptly allows us to take immediate steps to resolve the matter and ensure the best possible experience for you.
• If, after speaking with your guide or assistant, you are still dissatisfied, we welcome your feedback. Please feel free to share your concerns, complaints, or suggestions with us via phone, email, or in person at our office in Matagalpa. Your input is important to us and helps us continually improve our services.

Authority of Matagalpa Tours Representatives

• The decisions made by the guide, trip leader, or any representative of Matagalpa Tours regarding your safety, well-being, or the overall conduct of the tour are final. This includes any decisions about your continued participation in the trip or specific activities, particularly if your actions pose a risk to yourself, other participants, or the group as a whole.
• If you fail to comply with any instructions or decisions made by the tour leader, or if your behavior disrupts the well-being of the group, Matagalpa Tours reserves the right to ask you to leave the tour immediately. In such cases, no refund will be provided, and you will be solely responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result of your early departure.

Liability and Responsibility

• Matagalpa Tours is committed to providing services with due care, skill, and professionalism. We assume responsibility for any negligence or errors made by our own personnel or equipment during the course of your tour. However, we do not accept responsibility for any negligence, errors, or actions of third-party partners, subcontracted operators, airlines, accommodation providers, or other service providers.
• Furthermore, Matagalpa Tours will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, death, or expenses that may result from the acts or omissions of these third parties. While we carefully select and work with trusted partners, we cannot be held accountable for their actions or failures.

Travel Insurance Requirement

• As a condition of booking with Matagalpa Tours, you are required to obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances that may arise before, during, or after your tour. This includes, but is not limited to, cancellation fees, medical expenses, curtailment costs, loss of luggage, or early departure from the tour due to illness or death.
• Your insurance should provide coverage for, at a minimum:

• Personal accidents and medical expenses
• Emergency medical repatriation
• Personal liability
• Any activities or excursions included in the tour that may not be covered by a standard insurance policy (e.g., adventure activities)

We strongly recommend that you review your policy to ensure it fully meets your needs and the specific requirements of your trip.
